Our Staff

We've been walking this road together for more than 25 years.

Family of Christ Lutheran Church has served the northern Colorado Springs and Tri-Lakes community since 1998,  helping people grow in faith and live out their calling.  Our pastors and staff are committed to walking with people through every season of life - offering biblical teaching, genuine relationships, and steady hope in Christ.

After retiring from that career in early 2026, Chris felt called to pursue meaningful work closer to home and is grateful to have found such a wonderful fit here at Family of Christ. Chris and his wife of 35 years, Carlie, are blessed to have their two children and their families nearby in Colorado Springs. With much of their extended family also living in the area, they cherish time spent together and are thankful for the strong sense of community that surrounds them. A proud Colorado native, Chris is excited to serve and be part of the Family of Christ community.

Worship Arts

Jeremi Richardson

Worship Leader

Hello, my name is Jeremi (with an “i”) Richardson, and I’m honored to be joining the team here at FOC. Originally from Tennessee, I’ve called Colorado home for over a decade. I’m a preacher’s kid turned professional musician (after first planning to become a pediatrician!). I hold a master’s degree in music and have been a professional musician since 1998—alongside my wife of 24 years, Amy. We’re raising three confident and brilliant daughters: Ariah, Shalom, and Noa.

I come to FOC, with more than 30 years of experience in worship and music ministry, and I count it a true privilege to help curate the soundtrack of how people experience God. When words fail, music often remains—and it’s a sacred responsibility to lead others into deeper encounters with Him through song. Outside of worship, I’m most at home in the sun (I love summer!)—writing books, exploring new coffee shops, cheering for the Broncos, or embracing the quiet rhythm of Sabbath. I believe in the holiness of rest, the dignity of hard work, and the sacred power of authentic connection.

Katy Mariotti

Chancel Choir Director

Katy Mariotti has been the Choir Director at FOC since 2016. Katy has a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), and she taught Middle School Choir for nine years before having her first baby and leaving her position to spend more time at home as a mom. Along with directing the wonderful FOC Chancel Choir, Katy works as a music director for musicals at local schools. And has the honor of singing with the Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble. Katy also has an MA in creative writing from Regis University.

In her spare time, she enjoys singing, reading, writing, watching movies, and bright colors! But since she’s a mom of three beautiful kids, she mostly spends time taking care of them and hanging out with her husband and High School sweetheart, Dan.

Jonathan Griesinger

Lead AV Tech

Jonathan grew up in Arvada, Colorado, and attended college at the University of Colorado Denver, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts and Jazz Piano Performance. He’s been involved in worship ministries for over half his life, serving as a worship leader, musician, and audio engineer. He also has a background in production sound for film/TV and performs professionally in wedding bands, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how to support each service both technically and musically. Jonathan strives for excellence in everything he does as a way to honor God and serve others well. In his free time, he loves to play piano, hike with his wife and dog, and play ultimate frisbee! Go long!  And he doesn't have much free time these days as he and his wife just welcomed a newborn baby to their family!
