Just as in the days of the Old Testament, threats today are real and are everywhere. That's just the stark reality. Today it's at schools, shopping centers, theatres, churches...all places that ought to be safe, but we hear about security incidents all the time. At FOC we take safety and security of the congregation and staff very seriously, and one part of that has been an active Safety & Security Team in place since 2011.
They are some of the Sunday people who come early and stay late. They respond to any medical or security issue that may arise during worship services and other events. They meet throughout the year for training and to keep up with 1stAid/CPR/AED and other certifications. And they strive to continuously improve their ability to effectively respond when needed.

DD214 Warriors
DD214 Warriors is our Veterans ministry. They meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the kitchen. They fellowship, support one another, and serve our church and community!
