The Red Letter Challenge (RLC) is a resource that is simple to understand, challenging in concept, highly practical, but always squarely aimed at Jesus! God has been gracious to all, and being compelled by that grace, we believe that following Jesus is the single greatest opportunity of our lifetime! Together, we’ll be focusing on the actual words and challenges of Jesus in the Bible. Together, we’ll be reflecting, praying, wrestling, and journaling. We’ll be stretched and inspired. And in the end, our lives will look a whole lot more like Jesus. Join the whole church family at FOC on this exciting journey!
Each mid-week service in the series focuses on "Words of Life from the Cross." The theme of this series is based on the final words of Christ that He spoke from the cross as He offered up His life for the life of the world. Each of the seven words our Lord spoke from the cross imparts a blessing and is a word of Gospel. Each word of Christ proclaims and delivers something about Him, something about us, and delivers His saving death to us that we would trust Him for forgiveness, life, and salvation. This centers us on the incredible message that transforms our life and faith!

During this series, we will take a closer look at the book of Matthew. God often works in ways that we don’t always quite understand. Together we'll examine some parables from Matthew that are more difficult to comprehend and discuss what they mean for our relationship with God.
Often in our world today, it’s easy to fall into the trap of seeking comfort as a top priority. We want a comfy bed, comfy couch, and comfy shoes. But God doesn’t call us to seek comfort, He calls us to seek Him. This month, we’ll be exploring four different stories from the Bible and what each can teach us about “Leaving Comfortville.”May we be people who are willing to leave comfort behind and walk with Jesus fully!
When God declares His children to be righteous, He sees us as having been made right in His sight. We cannot attain righteousness by our obedience or our service. Through the book of Romans, we will explore how God makes us righteous through our faith in Him.
We know that Jesus is our Lord and our Savior. We are His children, and He loves us. Jesus has words of hope and instruction to speak to each of us. May we not be distracted by the noise of the world but listen attentively and intentionally to the truth that Jesus speaks through His words. “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mathew 11:15.
